View Full Version : getting back into pivot

I used to animate with pivot about three years ago. today I just decided to try and get back into it. I have forgotten alot of what I had previously know such as simple things like how to post animations up to the correct speed using beta. I made this short test animation and hosted it on Imageshack, but it looks slower than in the actual program playback. someone please tell me how to bring animations up to the correct speed when hosting on Imageshack, and animating with pivot 3 beta at 23 frames per second.

Edit: quick punch test I did still looks too slow!

yeah. it needs to be sped up slightly, but the frame rate is maxed out in pivot, I uploaded it, and it's still too slow.
do the
merge
crop
and palette
or super sample options have anything to do with it? if so what is the best settings for them?????

this one didn't come out too well, but it's still slower than in the program.

what do you mean by "too eased"?
Automaton

The easing is too laxed (needs to be a little more heavy spaced), and in the first box when saving as a gif put it to 6.

Work on movements, dub down the easing, and physics too i guess. But hey, nice for 3 years nigga nigga.
[Edit] were you on Stickpage? And if so what was your user name?

Rings a tiny bell, but hey welcome back.
The second animation you posted was... sorry, but it was crap.
The first one was pretty nice. You sped up the kick from the run-up very nicely, you hardly see that. I like.

yeah, I know the second one sucks. I only spent like 10 minutes on it :P wasn't really trying. thanks for the compliment. glad I seem to have retained at least some of my former ability.
the only reason why your animations look slow is because your spacing is too little
