Okay, it's come to my attention that we've been getting quite a few adbot raids nowadays. They used to just reside in one of the off topic forum's threads, but now they've even spread out to the animation sections. So I'd like to get this into in the air for those select individuals who obviously don't know their way around here already:
STOP REPLYING TO THE DAMN THINGS
In case you haven't already noticed, these bots aren't exactly advanced technology. They're only programmed to mindlessly paste HTML code into random sites to promote some malware riddled website. They cannot hear you and your witty little retorts or answer you as to why they made their thread in the section they made it in. And they certainly don't care whether or not you reported them. Hell, public reports in general are annoying and a waste of time, but that's not the case right now.
Here are a few examples of an adbot post:
Hi Bioprocessing specialist Sartorius Stedim Biotech’s (SSB) net profit for the first half of 2008 rose by 3.5 per cent in comparison with last year, although the company continues to face difficulties in North America. http://valtre.1newmed.infoG'night

Sometimes you don't even need to report a spam bot thread. They only post once and leave anyway. All you need to do is ignore it and move on to the a real thread. Because it sucks that some of these spam bot's threads get more attention than an Easytoon thread.
