Cool.
Now I need to find out Cicida's secret of animating =[
The tutorial is very good! And those mirror idea's are excellent, I use them myself now.
And, those animations are fantastic! Really smooth, are those done by line's?

Ok that is awesome but you missed one type of shadow, the built in shadow.
Draw a stick and right click it, go to "Timeline Effects" Then to "Effects" Then click drop shadow, choose the options and click ok and there you go!

No, go away. I'm pretty sure the reason he didn't add that was because he forgot to. This tutorial is for more advance effects for animation purposes. The only purposes the drop shadow filter would work in is text effects. Unless you actually use that effect in your stick figure animations.

Well, yeah, spazzy pretty much covered it. I didn't put it in because I felt it was not a very useful animation technique. If you use the filter in place of the other things in the tutorial, it will look like crap. That's why I felt like it was far too simple and not worthy of explanation. Infact, I couldn't write a reason to use it if I wanted to.
I didn't even use a drop shadow on the main title lol.

Thanks for the insight.
I re-uploaded it to deviant art, so we won't have this problem anymore.

You have to select the symbol. Then, use the scroll box to find the "alpha" option.
That should do it.
