If this isn't very helpful, I'll close it.

This tutorial will teach you how to make a base stk for your animations. A base stk is a simple stk that's easy to animate with. (Most of the time.)
__________________________________________________ _______________

Okay first, make a line like this with the length of 35 and a thickness of 20. Clcik duplicate and attach it to the red dot. You should have something like this:

Next, add a line to the duplicated joint with at a length of 10.

http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/460/stk2ps2.png

Add a circle to the short joint at a length of 30. The circle should slightly resemble a donut like this:

http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/9528/stk3jg6.png

Now, increase the thickness to 30 and make the circle static.
Like so:

Okay, now we're going to start adding limbs to our stk. Add a line from the top of the duplicated backbone with the length of forty. Now duplicate that to the end of the other limb. It should look like this now.

http://img124.imageshack.us/img124/3433/stk5pt6.png

Now repeat the preceding step.

http://img105.imageshack.us/img105/5877/stk6rx4.png

Now for the legs. Start by making a line with the length of 50 at the bottommost joint and duplicate it to get this:

http://img124.imageshack.us/img124/5514/stk7pw1.png

Repeat preceding step.

http://img105.imageshack.us/img105/5526/stk8xl3.png

We aren't done yet! Now to add feet. Add a line at the end of the legs at a length of 5.

http://img105.imageshack.us/img105/8913/stk9we5.png

And there you go, a base stk for you to animate with! This may not be the best base stk there is so experiment yourself and try to make a base stk that's good for you. Oh. and sorry the quality of the first image is funny, I saved it as a JPG by accident.

No offense, but I don't think a tutorial is really needed to make a base stk, it's really too simple to require a tutorial.

Well it's best to just experiment with sticks you think your good with and make them better to fit your style.

I would like an explanation please.

cuz it explains it all on zerofive's tut how to static line, 0 thickness etc..

and it is not that hard to do a stick man.

Off topic, which stick did you use on your avatar gun shot? I think i saw bowstick with that stick or if you got it off droidz or some hosting stk file place.

I made it.

And about Zero's tut, it just shows the basics and concepts. It doesn't really show how to make one.

Sorry for double post but I got a comment on that...

This is a tutorial... So a beginner can come here but a pro can come here too (not specific on this one, because it is really basic...)

This could be hulpfull to those who never made a 'base' stk :)
