k, so now that that's out of the way...

This is a pretty short tutorial on how to find individual songs without using a P2P program

In the Google search bar, type in the following:

intitle:"Index Of" song name.mp3

The song name can have spaces in it, and you obviously replace song name.mp3 with the actual song's title. If you want to narrow down your search, you can also add the group's name to the search.

So, let's say you want to find the song El Manana by the Gorillaz. You would search "intitle:"Index Of" gorillaz el manana.mp3" (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=intitle%3A%22Index+Of%22+gorillaz+el+manana.mp3&btnG=Search)

It takes some searching to find a link that won't link you to an MP3 store or give you a 404 not found/403 forbidden result. On this search it was the 6th link down. This won't work for all songs/music, especially with obscure bands, but most of the time you should be able to find something.

To reiterate, do NOT use this tutorial for anything other than informational purposes.

I'll just stick to demonoid.

Good tut though. How'd you find this out?

I just recently learned about the "intitle:" function in Google, and I remember seeing another tutorial on finding files within "Index of" directories. It didn't use the intitle: function though.

It's not that reliable though, at least from what I've found.

Hey I saw this youtube video too.

Yeah, not very reliable. Infact I have never gotten this to give me any good results.
