How to Save Youtube videos to Your Computer

*If you already know how to do this don't flame me and say "everyone" knows this already!
---------------------------------------------------
Follow these steps and you can have any Youtube video saved directly to your computer!!

Step 1: Find a Youtube video you want to save

Here's what I've chosen:

Now, before going to step 2 leave this page open so you can copy the hyperlink (more on that later)

Step 2: What you need to download
- Batch FLV Converter (needed to convert FLV files into MPG/AVI

Go here to download the Batch FLV Converter: http://www.ripzor.com/flvconverter.html

*IMPORTANT: After it finishes downloading, check its contents.
You should have...

If you have everything, then good; you followed directions.
If not, backtrack and follow precisely...

Step 3: Time to Download Video
Go back to this site: http://www.ripzor.com/youtuberipper.html
At the bottom of the page, where it says "Get Video," copy and paste the name of the "hyperlink" where your youtube video is found.

After entering the "hyperlink" click "Get Video" and you should get a link to save the file. Right click where it says "Click Here" and select save as

Name the file whatever you want, but end it with .flv For example, I did transform.flv

Now, select save and on your desktop or where ever you saved it, that .flv file should be there.

Step 4: Convert
You should have the .flv present (the file you just saved to your computer) as well as the Batch FLV open now.

With the Batch FLV open, select both of them and drag them on your desktop.

Select the flv converter to open up a new window:

Click "Add Files" and select the .flv file you saved it as earlier. Click "Open" to proceed.

Forget about the other options listed and select "Process." This will convert the movie into a MPEG file. Another screen will pop up, but don't worry about it. That is the second file you brought to your desktop earlier. This new window will convert the FLV into a MPEG file. THAT'S IT!! Now you can watch your chosen youtube video on your computer anytime you want to without worrying about it getting deleted by the user or Youtube owners.

Or, unless you are a noob that fails at computering, you can use VLC player, which is the player everyone with a computer should be using.
