I PUT THIS HEAR BECAUSE NO BEGINNERS WILL SEE IT AT THE PIV SECTION.
NOW ALL BEGINNERS READ THIS:
NO MENTORING IS NEEDED IN PIVOT. I AM GOING TO TELL U THE WAY TO BECOME A GREAT PIVOTER.

[[[[list has gone-i didn't make this thread for the high pivoters. just the ones that arn't good. this is just to give a guide if you are lost, or dont uderstand how to become better in pivot.[/FONT]]]]

IF THE FOLLOWING DOES NOT WORK [WHITCH I ASSURE YOU IT WILL] THEN I WILL CHANGE MY NAME FROM MARIO3D, TO NOOB3D. OKAY?
NOTE: IF YOU SKIP A STEP, YOU WILL NOT BECOME A GREAT PIVOTER.

HAVE PATIENCE IS THE FIRST STEP. IF YOU DO NOT TAKE TIME IN PIVOT YOUR ANIMS WILL NOT BECOME GOOD.
LEARN ALL BASICS [RUNNING, EASING, PHYSICS,WALKING, MAKING STICKS, LEARNING HOW TO POST THEM.
ONCE THE BASICS ARE DONE, PLAY ABOUT WITH THEM AND TRY SOME EFFECTS LIKE DISAPPEAR, PARTICLES. [MAKE A RUNNING AND WALKING SCENE WITH SOCCER/FOOTBALLS AND JUMPING, WITH BLOOD AND THINGS LIKE THAT]
KEEP REPEATING THOSE UNTILL ALL HIGH PIVOTERS SAY YOU HAVE COVERED THE BASICS.
THEN LEARN FIGHTING, OR WHATEVER YOU LIKE TO ANIMATE. KEEP ANIMATING THIS UNTILL WE SAY YOU HAVE COVERED IT.
LEARN ADVANCED EFFECTS.
ONCE ALL OF THAT IS COVERED, THEN PUT IT ALL TOGETHER AND MAKE LONG ANIMS UNTILL WE GRANT YOU, A [B]HIGH PIVOTER.THIS IS JUST TO HELP ALL THE NEWBS AND NOOBS TO BECOME BETTER FASTER. I AM SICK OF WRITING THE SAME THING IN EVERY POST.

HOPE YOU GUYS HAVE READ THIS FULLY, AND WILL SAVE THIS SOMEWHERE WHERE YOU WILL REMEMBER IT.
THANK YOU.

I hope this gets stickied so new comers, newbs and noobs know what to do.

lol Why the firetruck isn't my name up in that list?! I know that you sayd many more in it but, come on, I'm better than Nebakanezzer, and Sapphire Flame (No offence, you guys are great!)

And Pfo has a mentor, Justin. And WTF?? NO CAPN OR JUSTIN??!! No, I didn't take the steps in order, and neither did Bahamut! lol you need to get it right! :'(

But your right, people need to be patient, and animate whatever they want, It doesnt matter if physics arent "REALISTIC" or "SCIENTIFICALLY INCORRECT" (nerds)...... It only matters that it looks good and its got something that nothing else has, style.

i need to let you guys know that i put it up there as a guide for those beginners that dont know where to start, and is confused about animating.

i know you guys didin't take that step in order, i wrote that because then the noobs will have insparation and follow those steps

bassicaly its to stop noobs from making movies and shit because they are not that good enouph yet to make them. the step thing will hopefully stop them making random crap, and start getting better.

understand now??

Yeah, this is extremely rudimentary and basic information.

I don't want to be a bitch or something... but this is like making an Tutorial about "how to be be good at spelling" and wright "learn spelling"... the idea behind a tutorial is "how too"... steps are great and all but the do have to be worked out...

If You Dont Wanna Follow These Steps, I Really Dont Care What You Say About It.

If you're having trouble learning, there's nothing bad about gtting a mentor.

Yeah, this is extremely rudimentary and basic information.
Yeah, that was very repetetive and redundant.

Nice tut, M3D. If the noobs would actually read the tut, it would help them out.

i think ive seen that somewere... ah well its a good tut none the less its a good basic way to tell people what to cover first. you should tell them to not copy tuts just get ideas and create there own style. like if every begginer goes to bahamuts tut we will have a lot of people animating with his sort of style. then his animations loose intrest and stuff.

omg... how do i use pivot???? :(:(:(:(:):(:(

Now I'm wondering how can you become "Great" and a "Pivoteer" at the same time?

Srsly.

K... the tutorial is obvious. Its common sense. Everyone should know that practice makes perfect. Thats the message from this tutorial.
You don't help anybody. You don't even show people how to animate professionaly. All you say is practice. Noobs will just keep practising on choppy animations again and again. Oh yeah keep repeating... thats such good advice.... Then we will just see people post nearly the exact shitty animations all the time.

wow good tut but can you give a really good and detailed tut on how to walk and run because i cant pass the first step because i actually fully can't walk..
like nothing close to it... it i make them walk or run it always looks like somone moving his legs and magically moving

The tutorial is great for a beginner.
When I started I thought I could make great long time movies.
However I missed many things so I never uploaded to a place.

I followed the tutorial (Without reading it :D)
If you check my animations files now I got 37 tests.
And two movies still under construction (5frames 1st and 2frames 2nd)
