OMFG i AM SUCH A NOOB PLEASE MOVE THIS TO THE PIVOT TUT SECTIONIf you want to draw pivot guns this is the tut for you. I will give step by step information and pictures to explain it as best as possible for you noobs out there:D
Step 1
Ok you need to choose a picture to get reference i,m using the one below, just put it some place where you can see it.http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r230/response6/glock.jpg
Step 2
Go to file>create figure type. Then make the first line, after that create a second line BUT!!!omg here it comes!!Use the static button shown below
http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r230/response6/SB.png
click it and move to the next line you will notice the previous line is gray that means the line is not visible when constructing the animation.YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE EVERY LINE IS CONNECTED BEFORE YOU STATIC
(Example.)http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r230/response6/STNT2.png
Step 3
Finishing your gun:
Well you have the perfect outline all the lines are static EXCEPT the first one, then good but it looks really plain doesn't it?Well here is the good part
Detail/Filling:
ok for filling just change line size to whatever fits you gun make sure the lines are static or the gun will move and the filling wont.
Detail:
remember i said take a picture for reference this is what you need it for(and for making your gun outline)look at the detail and make the detail in your gun.(if you want the detail such as a handle grip make a line in the corner of the bottom left of the gun and change the line thickness to "0".
then static that and put thickness back to 5 or whatever you had it on.
EXTRAS!![/COLOR]
Move able parts:
Trigger:
step 1)go to the part of the gun where the trigger is located in the join were your handle meets the top part of the gun move it over a bit and make about 4 lines curving down to the right.leave the first line un-static and make the rest static so it moves(remember all parts must connect)
MORE EXTRAS WILL BE ADDED SOON!!!
Please rate this tutorial and say if it helped you if it needs suggestions.
also im going to see if i can put it in official tutorials thread so just say if it should or not.
