Hacking Vending Machines (the tutorial)

NOTE: THIS IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR STUPIDITY. IT IS ILLEGAL.

Method 1. The newest method is the 4,2,3,1 button combination, IT DOES NOT PRODUCE A FREE SODANOR CAN IT CHANGE PRICES. This one only works n the new coke machines with the large ractangle buttons. You can check the temperature, how many sodas were sold, how much money the machine has in it, etc. But you can not get a free soda in anyway.

Method 2. The ol' stringed coin trick, yes this work, drilla hole with the smallest drill bit you have, and tie a string to it. Place the quarter in the slot, and yank it out when its about 3 inches in.
This only works on older machines or machines without the locking device.

Method 3. Saltwater. Pouring saltwater in the coin slot while holding down the preferred soda produces the soda.

Method 4. VERY old machines only. Hold down the button of the soda you want, have somebody unplug the machine and replug it. Free soda for you!

Method 5. Taped dollar. If you put packaging tape on the white strips of the dollar (IF YOU GO OVER HTE WHITE STIRPS IT WILL NOT WORK) you can easily pull the dollar out when its fully scanned. Do not pull to slow or to hard, use a nice firm grip and pull. You should hear a click.

Method 6. This one is also for slightly older machines. Cut a notch right below the one on the left side of the dollar. When you place the dollar in the machine, make sure the notch is closest to you, it goes in last, if done correctly, it will work.

METHODS 5&6 WILL WORK ON CHANGE MACHINES

Another note: I have tested all of these methods and they all work, if I find anymore I'll post them.

Once again, if you get arrested for doing this, its not my fault, I warned you.

Err... The debug combination DOES work if the internal switch is flipped, which it rarely is. I got it to work yesterday in front of dollar general.

2. Shift it so its at its corner, the plug to 180 degrees and make sure its out alot. then select drink.
3. Try the code 6536. Its the release mechanism for most of the old machines.

i know one it only works on the newest put a doller in the slot and press what you want when your drink falls on to the convaier belt put your hand in the slot and keep the drink from coming out the machine should give you your money back then order another drink and you got two drinks for one doller.

some places only bolt machines to wall . look under at bottom you should see two little drain holes. take a hangar and bend one inch down to a little over 90 degrees. you can pull the bills out through the holes and put it right back in basically take all of the money!!! have fun

cheap candy machines are fun to rip also, at restaurants usually. they have to be fairly old. take a toothpick(a wire would be suspicious) and push over the notch switch thing(it keeps the dial from turning if there's nothing in it), and turn it back and forth without turning it too far. And soon after that you get free candy. Next person to put a quarter in gets only 2 or 3 candy pieces though.

A quarter can be used, But turning it too far means you loose the quarter.

EDIT: never bang on the top of it while turning the dial ether, you'll get nothing
