MAME32 Tutorial By 2-D.

Mame is an awesome emulator. It plays arcade games, and the best thing is, Inf. Coins.

MAME is a computer software program for personal computers designed to faithfully and precisely emulate as many arcade games as possible, with the intent of preserving gaming history and preventing vintage games from being lost or forgotten. The name is an acronym for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator.

INSTALLING MAME

First, Download MAME32 here.
*Removed because stickpage disallows emulators! Just google it!*

After its done installing, extract to where ever you want MAME32 installed. I put it here.
C:\Program Files\MAME32
You can put it where ever you want, though you need to come back to it whenever you want to get a new game on it.


ok, good you installed it. Now go to where ever you installed it, open the folder, open the MAME32 folder, then go to the ROMS folder.

INSTALLING THE GAMES

I will now tell you how to install a game named Metal Slug 4.

Download:
*Just google it, It isnt hard to find! Removed for No rom/emu policy.*


After downloading, put that .zip in the roms folder.

Now download this, Neo-Geo Files Needed To Run Most/Some games used by MAME (Not rom or emulator)

*****After that is done installing, extract it to the roms folder. COPY the files in Neo-Geo folder, open the mslug4 .zip, and copy...

Then it shall start compressing and moving.

Note: this is how you install any game.

Now, Playing The ****in' Game.

Go to the folder where you installed Mame, right click mame, click Create Shortcut. Move it to desktop if you want!

Open Mame. (you got this far, hopefully you can do this)

It will do a game search, dont worry about it, its not important.

Now Find The game Metal Slug 4. Its Alphabetical. So its not hard to find.

And you're a ****ing idiot if you think it never gives you the right link. The only reason it would do that is if you're typing something completely different into the search bar. Because every time I want to download something like this, the first few links on Google I find are the ones I'm looking for. And if you're too lazy to scroll down the page to see if the next few links answer your question, then what makes you think you'll have the nerve to try this? Because installing a software takes much more work then it does to search Google. There's much more clicking involved and you may even have to type something in!
