What is an Embedding Video?

Firstly, It Has to be a direct link to a video.

For google player, you can just take a regular link to a google video, like..

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5946593973848835726

And copy the last part. Some links have more after the numbers. Just copy everything from AFTER the Equal sign (=) till the last number in the sequence of numbers, In this case, -5946593973848835726.

Remember, if it has a - in it, you need to have that there.

Now take the code..

And just change the numbers (And the '-' if it has one) to BOTH spots in the code.


Now, post it in your sig, or post, that there yeh go.


Same with Youtube, All you need is a direct link. If you dont know how to get those, get a swf catcher, yo.

this is a swf embeded code, (but if u wanna get more technical ur missing some parts like upgraded version so the viewer needs to have a certain version to see it and such, u shoulda included the dimentions as well 2-d

i'd have to say u should change the topic to swf/flash embedding codes for html since there are different embedding codes for other video files

lgososer: you can embed your .avi without use of .swf

ntg: youtubegrabber.exe look for it, youtubes extention i think it was .flz or something simular, just a different extention from .swf through their program
