Hidden XP Folders For XP With Pictures

Well alot of people get caught for having folders with things they shouldnt have. The best way to hide materials on windows XP is by this method.

Step 1

First create a new folder.

Right Click - Select ’New’ - Select Folder.

Step 2

Now you will see your new folder.

Now rename the folder by this method:

Hold down the ’ALT’ Key (in between ’z’ & ’x’)

And Type:

0
1
6
0

And then release the ’ALT’ key.


The folder name would now look like this:

Step 3

Now right click the folder icon and select properties.

Then - Customize - Change Icon -

Step 4

Now find a space between the icons. This will be an invisible icon.

You will now notice an invisible folder other than when you click on it you will see a little blue highlight.

Now move the folder where nobody would expect it, like on the bottom or top of the screen.

I'm pretty sure you can make a folder non-viewable just by an option in the properties.

This wont come in handy for me, but its a cool trick.

Thats the easily detected way. This way, that even if they make it so hidden files are viewable, then they still wont see it.

dont use hidden folders or whatever, the hint is compress the files together

if u got some videos, u can how u say... change the extention of it, which makes it look like a system file, but can be viewed as a video in windows media player

You can still open them into a video player.

i made a big folder named porn.. with a txt doc in it.. and than clues to other folders all over my computer doing the same thing... but in the end all you get is a message saying "dont go looking through my computer.. its a waste of my time and yours"

I did it now and it works...And people who think this could only be used for porn are retarded. It also helps retarded siblings from deleting your files. If they can't find them, they stay intact ;). You could also use it to hide games at work...

I don't really care. I did a great job at hiding it. It's in a folder so deep within WINDOWS that it's impossible to find.

I also have folders within folders, and empty folders. My 1.7 Gigs of porn is safe.
