View Full Version : Hey.
I'm gonna post my animations here, since I got almost no feedback in the beginner thread. I hope I don't get in trouble for this. ^_^

You don't belong in the beginer thread, you've moved to the next level.
Good anims. Smooth, no movement flaws, nice style.

Awesome man, I love that kick combo one, the last kick is sublime. And that beam animation is really imaginative...great work.
Thanks a lot, guys! I'm glad to hear such good feedback. Is there anything that I should fix on them?
Also, here is another. I'm trying out advanced camera movements, something that I've never done before. A little background on it, it was inspired by a SSBM game, heh. I was Falco, and I smashed someone downward. 'Twas cool.

Excellent... you didnt need to post in the beginner thread. I'd say you're around low inter.

Cool, thanks.
I've heard about DarkDemon, and how they have placements like intermediate and veteran. I'm thinking about signing up there, to see how I rank up. ^_^

Hmmm, I liked the camera movement, and the sticks were nice...but I thought the movements themselves were far too fast to really see what was happening.
Slow it down a bit and add in a lot more anticipation before movements I say, I know you were going for the element of speed here, but you've always got to remember the basics of animating, regardless of the movements.
Also the easing on that first fall is far too rushed...the figure should slowly reach a peak and then start to fall very slowly once again before accelerating.
I can see you know how to animate, but this just seems a little rushed.

Yeah, most of my animations are slow. >.>
I'm trying to learn how to get the same movements in, but faster.

You could just crank up the FPS bar... Weeeeeee!

Meh. That's cheating. >.>
Plus, what if I want slower movements and faster movements in one animation?

Har, very nice. Change the arm stance, and it'd be perfect. ;)

Gah, I can't edit my previous post-
+edit: You could double frame.
Double frame normally can make it choppy. Good job mate, The beam one is very nice.

Man, it's about time someone did another legendary smoothness test to show to all these (in the literal, not stupid sense) noobies that you can have fast movements with loads of frames and a jacked up fps. Of course, it's unbelievably hard, and on top of that you actually have to animate something.
Btw, you're way beyond the beginner section
