Just as the title says, if you are new to Pivot and want to post your animation you should post it in here and not on the portal. The portal is not for pivot and only for Flash and art. If you have Flash you may import your pivot animation into a swf file and post it, but gif animations are not allowed and will be deleted immediately.

To normal users: Do not flame beginners if their animation is not up to par. They are new to the program and offensive language or posts will not be tolerated. There is a new warn system and you will be warned for it. Mods can ban without a warning if it is servere enough. Please take this to heart as you to were once new to animation.

In Pivot, u can only save it as a .bmp(which turns each frame into a picture), .gif (which isn't allowed), or .piv. How can i make it a different file?

good one d3ath, the second one is original, the movement is smooth.

sticknigger you should make a plot, a story, the movement of the whatever it is you're drawing isn't well balanced. you should practice more.

The link doesnt work for me..?..EDIT: nvm, it works... Pretty good for a second, something you could try to improve on would be animating the arms while they run? I don't know if it was just the server, but it looked kind of slow for a little bit also.

i'm not sure if this is right but click on it to make sure it's my animation it's long so it might take ur CPU long load it but if ur CPU's fast ur lucky then.

Stickdominator, the animation, it was pretty good, but you could have made it a bit faster, especially when the guy was being thrown at the other guy. Thats about it... make it a bit faster and it's good. :)

hey uh guys i tried uploading my pivot animation but sorry its just way too long and it says its to much KB.its true my animation has like 1075 frames i would of like it if u all saw it though sry eveyone,*sigh*

The....Thing in it is what I call a Si. This was just a demo, to get used to animating them. They run like humans, except they dont have arms, and they don't walk like humans.

the 5th, it doesn't really matter about the odd double post when you start - I had to resist the urge to double post when I added the second animation of mine! :D

Ehh.Yeah you do.It's the stick with the empty head and with thin lines.

The next time try to put more effort on your animations.Use more frames and better sticks.It regulary takes me 2 hours to make a detailed STK, like for example, a gun.

I think Socks' is something like "I AM SOCKS, THE ONE AND ONLY." I think. But yeah, they are alot alike...

How come nobody replies to my Pivot animations? I've posted like 4 now, and I have only gotten one comment, from X-DESTROYER101. (Thank you Destroyer.) But I need to improve, and I would like some help from you guys on what I should try and work on. I know I suck at animating, but I don't know what to improve on. If I had some help, I would be making tests over and over until I got it right. Any help is greatly appreciated.
EDIT: (Well now that I read the whole thread over I see that stick dominator did say my animation was good, but I need some advice to work with so I can get better.)

Whoa, that's weird. Lol. Pretty fun to watch over and over. It doesnt really have much that would be possible to improve... He moved kinda slow when he ran though (alot like in some of my animations) lol. Anyway, that's about the only thing... :)

See? I didn't get a SINGLE comment on my animation. :( :( :( ... Also, Stickdominator, about the running, just move them a little more each frame. As far as I can tell, the running animation is good, but they just need to move a bit faster, they look like they are pretending to be in Slow-mo. Lol.

Also, violent creator, I cannot view your animations on that site.

I was gonna post another animation, but I guess the background on it made the file huge (5.84 MB) and Putfile won't let me upload it. :(

I think Socks' is something like "I AM SOCKS, THE ONE AND ONLY." I think. But yeah, they are alot alike...

How come nobody replies to my Pivot animations? I've posted like 4 now, and I have only gotten one comment, from X-DESTROYER101. (Thank you Destroyer.) But I need to improve, and I would like some help from you guys on what I should try and work on. I know I suck at animating, but I don't know what to improve on. If I had some help, I would be making tests over and over until I got it right. Any help is greatly appreciated.
EDIT: (Well now that I read the whole thread over I see that stick dominator did say my animation was good, but I need some advice to work with so I can get better.)

the way the black stick bend his knees it should be reversed.
When the light grey stick get thrown you should put some more movement , not just move it.
the black giantstick that is standing after throwing the black stick, if you see it closer the feet is off the line. and when it fall down and lies on the box try put the hand beside the box.
when the blue stick lies it kinda float than lying.
there's some unwanted lines on the box and there should be some lines connecting the stairs and the upper level and lower level.
fix those and it would be perfect....

I know it wasn't really good, but for my work it was great. Might even be my best Pivot animation. I have a whole bunch of shorts, but they all use the default stick, and I don't want to go through combining them. A little jump test I made... Took me like 5 minutes.. 5 and a half if you count making the floor stk. This looks alot better that any of my other jumps. I added more frames than I used to on this one.

They are OK, you should work on the walking a bit, the legs move too much.

Is the second one you posted a newer one? If it isn't, post a new one so I can see. If it is a newer animation, wow... It depends on how old you are, but if you've been animating since middle school... geez... I've only been animating with Pivot for maybe a year now, and I can do about that good... I GOT IMAGESHACK TO WORK!!!! I changed the name from "Halo Stuff" to "Halo_Stuff" and it let me upload it :D anyways, here it is.

As I said before, the energy sword, master chief, and hunter were by 051. I made the rest except letters (default.)
