its hard 2 make it look like 1 leg is on each side but maybe u could of hidden the back leg and put him infront of the horse, so u keep the legs in the same place so it looks like his legs r around it rather then him floating in the air ^^

or make him + the horse the same colour so that u cant see whether the legs r behind or infront :) black would look good.

No default doesn't smell. It is very usefull for beginners Don't post stuff like that till you actually can animate well with better sticks. So like WOAHMUHGOD don't say anything 'bout defaults.

pie, try to move more limbs and add more movement. example before they headbutt, they just stay in the air, maybe make them start falling then they headbutt. Aswel the swords just appear, maybe try make them draw the swords. keep practising tho!

edit: also when you post it make sure you half the size of the file or make it a third the size, when you save as gif, select "shrink frames by" (1/1 change it to 1/2 or 1/3) :)

Well it's hard to make them draw their swords right away becuz then over half of it gets chopped off where they are usually.

you messed up on your blast,animate it and if you are going to do damage make it where the screen flashes a bright color,wind blows,addd another charecter in front of those close to the light so it looks like their body is lighted up instead of dark

is there anyway u can giv me a clip of wht u mean by add another char infront of those...do u just mean add bits of a lighter shade so it looks like the lights reflecting on them? also when i edit a beam it would take way to long, as im just making these to get more used to the program. Or is there a faster way of editing cos ill need to delete each part of the beam, unless i just change the colour. I duno personaly i like the bright light that comes from it..i kno wht u mean by add bright colours as i did it in my first animation. Thnx 4 tips

you don't add a backround when a stick gains energy,in this case he got energy for a punch.you can add a light colored circle behind or infront and shrink it about 10-20 pixels each frame until the hit.And if I had control of that sword,just because it's me and I slice stuff with real swords all the time,I would've cut his head in half.

Yeah... I had animated it to loop but I guess I didn't save it right.

And in no way am I going for realism, lower torso movement, or anything normal basically, in this animation.

tbh i think the running is the worst part, he doesnt look like hes trying very hard and som1 is shooting at him lol. i would lean him forward more and take big strides rather then back straight, small steps.

Why did you go am i med or high? You might of been low. I'd say low-med. I think it's a bit stiff personaly. If you improved that then you could get a higher rank. Btw my animations are pretty stiff to. Anyway heres one of my animations, What rank am i? Lemme guess...Low beg? Lol.

akuza, the first punch n blood was nice, then everything is very stiff, the throw isnt very gd cos it doesnt even look like much of a throw, the black n white things nice but a few ppl doing it nowadays lol keep up the gd work tho

Its not bad but, instead of the ball moving out of the screen and then there is a whole new screen, why dont u try foloing the ball from the camera angle. Would look alot better.

Edit- and devil that is not how your meant to get ur 20 posts! You should jsut be looking at tut's and other peoples work maybe saying "thats nice" "this helped me" until you get your 20 posts..not spamming the bigginers section.

1-WMM sucks and don't do that.
2-save your pivot animation as a .gif (select the drop down bar UNDER where you name it).
3-use www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.com and copy the IMG code and paste it here.Wa La!

no,only in flash.

and to upload it so I can download it make an account at www.pivothost.org
then upload the .piv file INSTEAD of the .gif.

the right-click the name after you upload it,select "properties",and copy the WHOLE url link.It works better and reduces chances of the link to be 404'd (broken)
