1-make sure the size making your pivot isn't that big
2-when you save don't increase the size
3-if neither of 1 0r 2 works resize it on the hosting website like photobucket.com or imageshack.com

I made this war animation about a fictional war in 2009 between the US and African Armies that are trying to take over regions of the country. I think I'm gonna put civilians in next. Some African forces will join with American forces and help fight.

Before i post my first pivot, i would like to know how you make them fast when you upload them. I mean like smooth and not like really slow (No im not talking about choppiness). I just did my first pivot and tried to do some physics stuff..Whenever i export it and look at the GIF. the file looks really slow...does it speed up when you upload it?

You're not going to stay a newb if you stick with animating in Pivot.
When I started my animations were 10x more newbish than this one
you just posted.You'll get better,I did.
1-Check out some tutorials.
2-visit www.pivothost.org (to get figure types)
3-don't make your animations so choppy

I'm pretty sure i've seen this before.Let's test you.Make an animation 200 frames 12fps of a guy doing a 20 hit combo on a guy in a row then finish him off by ripping his head off.

And you can't say "do you want the .piv".
Because I can just as easily download a file and upload it from my pc with a different name.But that would be low and you would probobly get banned for like counterfeight

I worked for 1 day and a half on 1 animation lasting 220 frames at a 12fps.
it sucked but was my best animation.
read some tutorials and go to the general help section,go to the mentor area and request a mentor.That's what i did and it HELPED A LOT

Yeah, you gotta be pretty good to make a movie/series. I already tried to make a series but it didnt turn out as good. I'm a lot better than i was then but i'm still not good enough for a movie.

I'm pretty sure i've seen this before.Let's test you.Make an animation 200 frames 12fps of a guy doing a 20 hit combo on a guy in a row then finish him off by ripping his head off.

And you can't say "do you want the .piv".
Because I can just as easily download a file and upload it from my pc with a different name.But that would be low and you would probobly get banned for like counterfeight

But making the attacker is easy, making the physics of anticipation of being hit and being hit are quite alot harder. Havn't tried to make a 1 on 1 yet.

some movements are half good and half bad.
NEVER make a guy jump into the,stop,and then kick.
the first frame he's in the air bend the leg he's gonna
use to kick and move his arms.when he gets to the
designated hit spot take 2-3 frames and do the kick.
But you're still gonna be moving him up until the kick
is finished.Then mave him down slower than how he
came up to show easing.

blur and fading to me have always been special effects and used for slow mo.
but they can also be used for going really fast.With the right color and effects.

For going fast is the different colors.
when making your figures speed up and show effects
you should have 4-6 extra stickmen colored LIGHT
blu and they keep getting lighter.then you skip a
frame with the person that's moving really fast.

This is a mix of African and American forces working together to fight the enemy. FYI: The black and Brown sticks are both of African race, but the brown is a terrorist organization and the black is allied with the US.

he made figure types.I always wanted to make one of those animations but well.
It's hard when you show half a stick in the white area and half in the black.
Well,it's more like it takes a while making all the different figure types and what not.It's not that hard though.If you know how to make a backround stick like if you want the backround to be red its easy.But for me to show onion skin I make the whole animation before adding a backround and you may need to add more frames if you have to.It's not really that complex actually

its hard 2 make it look like 1 leg is on each side but maybe u could of hidden the back leg and put him infront of the horse, so u keep the legs in the same place so it looks like his legs r around it rather then him floating in the air ^^

or make him + the horse the same colour so that u cant see whether the legs r behind or infront :) black would look good.
