My Rant
By Dragora.
Well. The katana is an ancient japanese sword. Used mainly my ninjas and samurai warriors. It's is a light weapon, allowing quick attacks. But it has a long handle, and most of the weight is in the blade. So you must be of the height '5.4' to use this weapon, otherwise you suck.


What did we learn?
1- a katana is longer and heavier than a dagger.
2- Used by ninjas
3- an ancient weapon

its a 6 to 8 foot long sword (name of sephiroths) with an extended handle wieghted with a dangerously light blade if the blade is carbon and the handle is wieghted it remains lighter and balanced with the plus side of streangth of high quality steel
thats why it was rarely used because they didnt have carbon soooooooo
if you use there same thing i described exept shrunk to the size of a katana

lol. Massamune is a steel sword. It has more weight on the blade than the handle. Sephiroth is a Parasite(if you wanna call it that), he is an expert swordsman, he is also not a midget. Therefore, he can easily wield massamune.

The stickman looked like it stopped in midair when the camera changes on the second anim., work on that, you need to move the stickman, then It'll look much better.

My Rant

Well. The katana is an ancient japanese sword. Used mainly my ninjas and samurai warriors. It's is a light weapon, allowing quick attacks. But it has a long handle, and most of the weight is in the blade. So you must be of the height '5.4' to use this weapon, otherwise you suck.


What did we learn?
1- a katana is longer and heavier than a dagger.
2- Used by ninjas
3- an ancient weapon
4- Dragora, ALWAYS, gets his cookie :Ohhhhh:

Sorry but I have to disagree with that...A Katana is used by samurais, and it's a heavy weapon...
Real ninjas don't really need anything big...just small..they rely on stealth.lol, have you EVER held a katana, they are not heavy, unless you are incredibly weak. I happen to have a katana in my room. So I know how heavy it is. A claymore, warhammer, etc, are heavy weapons.
