make it less choppy by spacing each frame out by less (tiny by tiny by tiny), look at pivot help then look at any tutorials you find like punching, kicking, running, jumping, etc. click here for punching tut:

a good way to learn movements is by acting em out (like for a punch try it to see if you can even do it without popping a bone er w/e). you'll get better eventually...

If you're too lazy for that, why are you doing pivot?! To become better you'll have to do you're best, and not post shitty anims ya don't care about.

If you are so knowing that then make a perfect shooting animation (atlist 5-10 frames)

if pivot 3 (what i use), 16, personally, I use anywhere from 16-25. If pivot 2, keep it the same.

pretty good. The ground doesn't need to tremor after every attack, it makes it look suckish. The leg doesn't seem to expand to a 180Degree angle. Try double framing on the kicks and removing the tremors, should be much better. Actually, may just make it high beginner.

A test for an upcoming animation, focus on the arms, tell me what you think, dont talk about the rest of the body its a test for the rotation of the arms.

the arms seem alittle too unattached. if your useing this in an animation, would suggest you have the arms completely attached to the body, and have them spin around faster, several times.

Um Lord Nasek, the text goes way to fast and the movements are a little spasmatic (sp).

New100 could you please upload a .gif instead of a zip file with the .pvt file, as not every one has Pivot or is willing to download anything. There are several tuts and thread explaining how to do this, I think there is even one in this thread.

People that have problems with posting URLs and in image types, look HERE.

Step 1:
Save your .piv into .gif
Uncheck merge
Set frame delay to 6~7 for normal frame rate.
Shrink the frames by 1/2 or it will be too big.

Step 2:
Go to either www.imageshack.us or www.pivothost.org
I recommend one of them.
Upload your work there.
If you choose imageshack, I'd recommend you download the toolbar, so it's easier and faster to upload.

Step 3:
For Pivothost you should see a link already, copy and paste it here for the URL
For Imageshack you should see a heck lot of links in there with a first-frame-pic of your animation.
Scroll down the page till you see a link labeled with "Direct link". Copy it, and paste it here, it's your URL.
If you want to post it into image form, You should see an image tag just below your subject, along with Bold, Italian thingi, Underline, Url, Image, Code, and Quote.
If you happen to miss them....Which is 'wow'...This is what you should do.
Type in *Paste your URL(Direct) Link here*

Well, on the sword strike it looks like the hand movements were too slow..Maybe it's me, but I think a sword strike should be a little faster. The non-stiff thing was pretty good, but the back leg should've bent a little.

I know, and I should let you know before you watch, that the ten sec vid was made from only 2 frames. I sped up the framerate, so it looks like the stick is vibrating.

Is it a good loop (for a 2 framer)?

Uncheck merge
Set frame delay to 6~7 for normal frame rate.
Shrink the frames by 1/2 or it will be too big.

Step 2:
Go to either www.imageshack.us ,www.pivothost.org , or www.filecram.com
I recommend one of them.
Upload your work there.
If you choose imageshack, I'd recommend you download the toolbar, so it's easier and faster to upload.

Step 3:
For Pivothost you should see a link already, copy and paste it here for the URL
For Imageshack you should see a heck lot of links in there with a first-frame-pic of your animation.
Scroll down the page till you see a link labeled with "Direct link". Copy it, and paste it here, it's your URL.
If you want to post it into image form
Type in *Paste your URL(Direct) Link here*
For Filecram just copy the Second code(BB link) for the direct link, First link HTML code for download.

There , you're done, Hope this tut helped. I'll make more tuts about piv that's pretty basic if requested.

I just finished making a 10 sec rifle loop to preoccupy me for a few hours. The few hours was mostly from making the sandbag sprite in MS Paint, and trying to sync the audio in Windows Movie Maker.

I know, and I should let you know before you watch, that the ten sec vid was made from only 2 frames. I sped up the framerate, so it looks like the stick is vibrating.

Is it a good loop (for a 2 framer)?

stop workin on quantity, special F-X, and other junk and work on basics such as running, jumping, kicking, punching, throwing, physics, easing, blah blah blah. dont put any other .stks in ur animations other than stickpeople and... the ground.
