Actually, it's very good for a beginner. The blood did suck, but I personally think it's good to use blood as much as possible and you'll get better at it faster.

You can make a backround so you have onion skin. Or you could make stkl. Backrounds without onion skin that are 10x better. Basically it's saying "Make an interesting backround that will catch the viewers eye and want to see more"

@brick'd. The Defult kick is ok apart from the one where the leg bends upwards? and around, most of kicks don't look very powerful. Maybe a bit of build up? The punches are nice although like the kicks are missing power. Keep it up though.

Those aren't bad for first time at all, but they need more easing and need to be a bit faster.

Also, I think that there is a tutorial on teleportation, but a really simple way to do it is to have the stickfigure change from white to light gray to medium gray to dark gray to black.

Easing is the difference between something moving like this:

I don't know if that's Inter but it's pretty damn smooth. You just have balls moving around so it's hard to judge.

Being Inter isn't judged only on smoothness. You have to have a good variation of backrounds, start messing around with effects, have good physics and movements, have smooth animations tht have somewhat of a storyline, exc. Refer to Baha's Ultimate pivot tutorial for more

Just one thing however - why does everyone complain about a stick figure not looking real...?
The idea of being a stick man is that you can do anything(to a degree) which is what animation was made for primarily... So you can do whatever you want to a character. Beyond the realm of physics and human law of actors.

put the slide at the side of the screen, which is your speed slider to full. then save the animation as a .gif, you then get a sub window, click merge so it un-ticks. select 6/100 fro first option, then 1/2 for second. head on over to imageshack.com, upload the gif, take the direct link, come back here, go to the beginner's thread, paste the link with *link here*.

no, he made it in "ZOMIGODNESS!!!!!", course he did, he wouldn't post it here other wise, and to be honest it's bad, really bad. if you've never worked with it before, don't attempt it. start small, not big like what you've just tried. and a fore warning don't ever use bert's beam like every one does, your instantly classed as a noob, because every one uses it.

How do you add a pivot animation?

you save it as a gif first ( save it as Frame delay 6 or 7 Shrink Frames by 2 and un check merge these options will be shown when you try to save as gif and save them like i showed or it will be too slow and messed up) then go to imageshack.us or any other image hosting site personaly i use pivothost and host the gif.

Hey guys this is my first punch..i know it's choppy, but i'll make my next one better, ok?
Plus i didn't do the cool down

that was ok
i personaly hated that punch
but make the arm stay totally extended for at least 2 frames than show the arm slowly recoil
the feet were fine though
make sure there is a build up in the punch so it makes it seem powerful
it was super stiff so make the back move some
make the ground shake too if you want a super strong punch effect
dont use the default stick and ad feet to your sticks

Omega stiffness, and although it is a stick animation, try adding good detail to your weapons.
