thanks pixel. The lightning on pivot is basicly just a jagged line with some more lies coming off it. when its going down his hands you keep rotating it 180 degrees each frame so it looks like its changing

Just as the title says, if you are new to Pivot and want to post your animation you should post it in here and not on the portal. The portal is not for pivot and only for Flash and art. If you have Flash you may import your pivot animation into a swf file and post it, but gif animations are not allowed and will be deleted immediately.

To normal users: Do not flame beginners if their animation is not up to par. They are new to the program and offensive language or posts will not be tolerated. There is a new warn system and you will be warned for it. Mods can ban without a warning if it is servere enough. Please take this to heart as you to were once new to animation.

For mtk, those have the right idea just use more frames or easing, check out bahamuts tut on darkdemon.org, and for devil dude he could have read a tut or two about stick making, thats what i did before i posted my first.

OK, I've decided to make some Halo/Halo 2 pivot figures, even make some animations, so here are the figs I made (except for the master chief, which I got from droidz.com) They're the Rocket Launcher, Battle Rifle, Pistol, Plasma Rifle, SMG(which look good dual wielded), and Sniper Rifle, and Energy Sword, (which is my favorite) I made them while lookin at the instruction booklet for the game, so I tried to make em look alright. What do you think?

I think that I have just got what makes some movies look so noobish which needs to be corrected, only one stick moves at a time, even if it is smooth it just seems weird. Think about it, if a stick is about to be punched he wouldn't just stand there, a few steps back maybe? just try to make everything flor more. Good luck guys :D ( I might sound a little arragont considering my anims, but I just trying to help ;) )

It's fine raza, all you should do now is put it into a story or a full fight, not much to improve on there, maybe a floor but there is nothing wrong with it. A few pages back I think we had one with light blue and dark blue lightning which looked very good, why not try that?

Shadow_kid, first of all, don't post twice in a row. use the edit button.

To upload an animation, save it as a gif, then upload the gif like you would a picture. If you don't know how to do that, then ask someone else cause I can't be bothered right now.

So, here is how to post your pivot animations for the FINAL time :

1. Save your pivot
2. now save it as a .gif, by clicking the drop down bar, under where you type in the name of it.
3. This box will pop up. for best results, uncheck merge. for frame delay, put 6, and shrink frame do 2.
4. Now, go to www.imageshack.us and upload your .gif
5. copy the direct link to image bar, and theres the link to your animation.
6. If you want it to show your animation without having to click a link, click this button: http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/5476/mountainbuttonkw0.png and paste the link in.

Note: It may seem that some of the pivots don't look smooth.(espically towards the end of all the fights) Thats because I get lazy and just want to end it really quick.

Lol if your going to do the naruto stick bodys then good luck with that. There's plenty of naruto stick bodys to choose from at droids.org. Trent m mitchell...good luck picking just 2 bodys. There is ALOT to choose from. While your at droids.org look for the shuriken and kunai packs too.

yeah you need to just get them into a certain stance like there concentrating or about to run then go to grey then a lieghter gray and then delete the stick then make them show up on the other side of the room

its stiff make everything move jsut a tiny bit every frame and also use easing
example: |-|--|---|----|------|----|---|--|-| for the frames (move just a little at first, then more more more more then slow down) it makes it smooth my whole anim a sec ago was based on easing
