[Pivot] blood tutorial

Sorry green moon, but after reading yours, I had to make one of my own. no offence.
(the following is all copied and pasted from it's original location)

For now, we'll learn how to make this (http://img174.imageshack.us/img174/3729/sptmjoint9di.gif).

start out by adding a bunch of red lines comming out of the injury, they can be any size or legnth, but not too big.
I'll leave the actual animation of the stickman up to you, but for the blood, on frame two, move the blood so that it is the legnth of it's self away from where it was in the first frame. (it's end is touching the onion-skin of it's front)
Also, shrink the blood down half way every frame. (If it was 100, on frame 2 it'll be 50, then 25 and so on.)
Keep moving and shrinking the blood until you can no longer grab it with the mouse. (usually about 5)

after that, delete it, or make it splat on the floor/walls, whatever.
and there you have it! your own type of blood.

Extra blood:

Here's a quick breakdown of some different blood.
(note this is much more detailed blood, and is very difficult to animate. newer people may want to stick with simpler blood for now)

We'll start at frame 12. (the first frame with blood in it)

I made ALL of this blood with nothing but these three stks:

first off, build the basic shape with the fatter peices, then add both the shorter ones, and more fat ones, shrunken to 90 or 80.

You can then shrink all the pieces down by 20 or 30, and move them forward a little more than the legnth of what they were.

repeat this process about 3 more times.

Keep moving and shrinking until they're too small, you can then delete them.

and that's basicly it.

I don't understand how you can get 3 diff "Blood" lines.

When I go to "Edit" then "New" I can on add lines and circles too the line thats already there :(

OMG.. that was so cool. i used the worst version of blood ever known to man. I do shrink it though. but not by half, just randomly

in edit mode you have to make th line as thin as posoble so as you watch the animation the thin line will not be visible.

This is what you have to do. If you go onto "Edit" there will be whatever you are editing there. Click on "File" then "New". Once you have done that a line will apear. Click on "Options" and then click on "Edit Mode". Then you can change the length of the line.

How do you shrink the lines after the blood leaves the first frame?
at the right of the screen there should be a panel with a number that is most likely 100. Change that to a smaller number.
