Ok, I posted this ages ago, when Hax had the olny decent easytoon tutorial, this is it as it was then, it's not for the new version so some tools aren't there but most are. Enjoy.
Introduction
This tutorial is for newbie Eztooners who have a basic understanding of how to use eztoon. If you have just started using eztoon you should make a few animations before reading this. This is not a tutorial giving animating techniques: it is tutorial to help deepen you understanding of eztoon.
Duration
The 'Duration tool' looks like this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v490/Jonny_g/eztoontuthighlightduration.bmp
What is it? This is used to change how long the frame lasts. The default is 0. When it is change to 100 the frame lasts 2 seconds regardless of framerate.
When should I use it? When something is there for a long time and there is no movement eg. 'End' This stops you from having to copy the same frame over and over which increases the file size more than one frame.
Is it useful? Yes.
Onion Skin buttons
They look like this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v490/Jonny_g/eztoontuthighlightonionskin.bmp
What is it? Turns onion skinning on and off. The left one turns the previous frame onion skin off the right one turns the next frame onion skin off. Press again to turn back on.
When should I use it? Don't. There's no reason to turn it off.
Is it useful? No.
Zoom

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v490/Jonny_g/eztoontuthighlightzoom.bmp

The ‘Black to white’ button looks like this:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v490/Jonny_g/eztoontuthighlightblacktowhite.bmp
What is it? Basically it changes pen to eraser and eraser to pen.
When should I use it? When there’s a black frame and a white stick/object. It easier than adjusting the size of the pen
Is it useful? Yes
Copy image mask button
The ‘copy image mask’ button looks like this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v490/Jonny_g/eztoontuthighlightcopylastframe.bmp
What is it? It copy’s the previous frame onto the current frame
When should I use it? Use it for animation with backgrounds.
Is it useful? Yes (only use when necessary)
Segment range buttons
They look like this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v490/Jonny_g/eztoontuthighlightselection.bmp

When should I use it? When viewing a section of a long animation
Is it useful? Yes
The selection buttons
When I say selection buttons I mean these: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v490/Jonny_g/eztoontutbar4.bmp
What is it? Once you select a piece of the image you can edit it. The four buttons each edit your selection differently. I will refer to them by number, 1 on the left and 4 on the right.
