Energy Blasts: When makin an energy blast, have your stick figure slightly hunch over with his arms aout forward. Then as you move along frames you should draw out the blast like thishttp://img369.imageshack.us/img369/4856/gfh5bb.pngMake the stick figure get pushed backed a bit

Shooting: When someone is shooting. Make the part of their body a bit light near the gun. and ad the flashes every other frame.When someone is geting shot, get rid of the place the are getting shot a little by little.

Explosions: When you make an explosion, It is best done with 1 pen line thickness.
