[Flash] Lightsaber Tutorial

Okay, got a question about how to make a lightsaber from starwars so here it is. Note i didn't feel like putting screenshots into it because really it is something very easy to make and i didn't feel the need to go any deeper into it. On with the tutorial.

Step 1:Open Flash
Step 2:Draw a line of any color. (Thickness of 5)
Step 3:Select your line so that it is highlighted
Step 4:Go to Modify > Shape > Convert lines to fills
Step 5:Select the fill (the line that was converted to a fill)
Step 6:Go to Modify > Shape > Soften Fill Edges
Step 7:For the amount of distance type in 15
Step 8:For the amount of steps put 20
Note: Make sure you have the option on expand...
Step 9:Press okay
Step 10:You now how your lightsaber... but you need a handle
Step 11:Draw a square or another line
Step 12:Posistion it under your lightsaber

OPTIONAL:
-When you expand your fill's edges you can select the line and delte it making the inside white. I chose not to do this because this way was quicker.

Your done!

It was quickly made so that you can see what yours could look like.

Dude...you are an idiot. You're not SUPPOSED to be able to host fla's. You're supposed to host the .swf. An .swf is a Flash movie. Not .fla. Or you can just the save the .fla as an image file like jpeg or png. Duh.

That edit has been there since the start of this tutorial... the edit was put in because i added the picture after i submited the tutorial... so no that has been there forever.

No you weren't. You were serious about me making a saber that you thought your idea came from. Which is right for me to defend myself. Oh, and i take my tutorials seriously because they take me along time to make and i don't like people saying i don't make things that i do.

instead of this just animate the lightsaber as a white line that fans out then convert all its frames into a movie clip and add a glow in the filters.
