I'm gonna be short and to the point.
Stiff, Not Smooth, Physics were off kinda, and practice by doing other tests first (i.e. walking, running, jumping) untill you get those down before moving on to more complicated things like guns and blood.
lastly, i may not be great at pivot either, but i do know mistakes when i see them.

Well for smoothness, I got the framerate higher but it doesnt maintain that framerate when I upload it to imageshack
But I appreciate your criticism :)

Ok, things bad about it
1. it was very choppy, for a short anim like that, you should have put the effort in for more frames.
2. Its abit stiff, you need to move every joint in every frame ect.
3. When he shot the gun it needed more recoil. try make his back lean backwards more and use hard easing until he starts to recover from the recoil.
eg. f = frames before shot. s = shot r = recoil rr = recoil recover
|f f|f f|f f|--s--|---r--|rr|rr|rr|rr|
probly makes no sense but yeah.
to summerize just place the frames further away just after he shoots then slow them down abit just before the recoil ends (closely placed frames), then he slowly recovers from the recoil (closely placed frames)
4. The blood looked like a stk (like the ones you download from droidz), you shouldnt use them unless you make them. Try you seperate particals for your blood, you can make them in the 'create figure type' thing.
5. Also up the fps abit.
6. You know about easing right? If not, learn about it and many other things here -----> http://www.darkdemon.org/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=22662
I advise you to read that whole thing if you havnt already. Good luck
Also, i made this awhile ago when i sucked hard. But this is what i meant when i was explaining the frame spacing with the gunshot.

Rival made a way better one awhile ago in the Beginner section. Pm him for it if you want to study the frames, im sure hell link you too it.
